  1. A White House staffer enters the room and turns on the intercom; "We have Ambassador Berkowitz on the line, Madam President."

    Avi Berkowitz, U.S. Ambassador to the UN: Madam President, I wanted to read out the proposed UN resolution draft to you; some unacceptable parts might have to be removed, like "State of Palestine" and the deployment of UN peacekeepers into the West Bank, it would create unnecessary headaches with the Israelis, but I believe the UNSC can pass everything else.

    Recalling the obligation of the Security Council under Article 24 of the UN Charter to maintain international peace and security,
    Reaffirming its strong commitment to the sovereignty and unity of the State of Palestine
    Reaffirming the basic principles of peacekeeping, including consent of the parties, impartiality, and non-use of force, except in self-defence and defence of the mandate, and recognizing that the mandate of each peacekeeping mission is specific to the need and situation of the state concerned,
    Reaffirming the Security Council’s mandate to deploy peacekeeping forces when it becomes necessary to do so for the maintenance of peace and security, and above all, for the protection of civilians from harm and the defence of their human rights,
    Noting that the civil strife in the West Bank has subjected the civilian population of that country to an unacceptable level of violence,

    Recognizing the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the West Bank as a direct result of the violence, including the destruction of infrastructure, shortages of food, water, and humanitarian supplies,

    1. Demands the immediate observance of a ceasefire by all parties in the West Bank;
    2. Authorizes the creation of a United Nations peacekeeping force under Chapter VII of the UN Charter of not more than 3,000 personnel in Area A of the West Bank for not more than 24 months;
    3. Authorizes this peacekeeping force to use all necessary means to protect the civilian population of the West Bank from non-state actor violence;
    4. Authorizes the immediate dispatch of humanitarian supplies to Gaza and West Bank to be distributed by the appropriate organs of the United Nations;
    5. Authorizes the creation of a UN commission to investigate the humanitarian situation and make recommendations for the long-term management of the humanitarian crisis, to be delivered within one month;
    6. Calls upon the relevant organs of the United Nations to react promptly to the recommendations of the special commission authorized in Section 4;
    7. Demands that no other non-state actors shall undermine and obstruct it;
    8. Reaffirms the respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence and unity of all States by purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter;
    9. The peacekeeping force will work with relevant Palestinian authorities to restore order and calls for the perpetuation of that government's mandate of government until the next scheduled elections in 2023;
    10. Decides to remain seized of the matter;

    Then we must prevent this from blowing up any further…literally. We already have an aircraft carrier in the area. Ellen, I’d like some options on deterrence. John, keep us posted on movement.

    Ellen Lord, Secretary of Defence: Madam President, our most significant deterrence is our carrier unless you'd want to launch attacks against Hezbollah or the Houthis. Both are an option, but I'd be more unwilling to do so with Hezbollah; it may open up a war on Israel's northern border. The Houthis, we can locate targets for you and present them to you shortly.

  3. PA President Killed in Hamas Ambush

    image.thumb.png.7de8c63eabaff54c2e6d3a78db0bd98f.png

    Insiders say without international support, the PA will collapse within days.

    Jenin, Palestinian Authority: Mahmoud Abbas, the longtime Palestinian Authority president, was killed in a Hamas ambush near Ramallah this morning. For decades, the 88-year-old, central to Palestinian politics, has served multiple unelected terms since 2005. Hamas claimed responsibility, citing Abbas's perceived collaboration with the "Zionist enemy."

    International reactions were swift, with Jordan's King Abdullah II condemning it as "unbridled murder," while Israeli PM Miri Regev called it an "unsurprising" revelation of Hamas's true nature. Mohammed Dahlan of the PFM remained silent amid escalating tension with the Palestinian Authority.

    Islamic Jihad Ambush Targets Israeli Soldiers Near Gaza Border

    image.thumb.png.2ad08825b005df3fc9861aaa8861b07e.png

    PIJ has made clear that the alliance between them and Hamas is over, promising that they will continue the armed struggle against Israel.

    Jerusalem, Israel: In a bold and coordinated attack this afternoon, Islamic Jihad militants ambushed Israeli soldiers near the Gaza border, escalating tensions in the region.

    The ambush took place during a routine patrol near the security fence separating Israel and the Gaza Strip. PIJ operatives, armed with heavy weaponry, launched a surprise assault on the unsuspecting Israeli forces, catching them off guard. 13 soldiers were reported killed. In a statement, a PIJ spokesperson vowed to continue resisting what they termed as the "Zionist occupation of Gaza."

    Israeli Prime Minister Miri Regev condemned the attack, labelling it a "cowardly act of terror" and vowed to respond forcefully to " once and for all destroy the terrorist entity."

    Palestinian Authority in chaos as Dahlan moves in for control.

    image.thumb.png.429c1f680cc1a43a13ae9a747a0f9d4e.png

    Observers fear a second Palestinian war is about to erupt and are urging world powers to intervene quickly.

    Ramallah, Palestinian Authority: The political landscape in the Palestinian Authority (PA) is witnessing unprecedented turmoil as former Fatah strongman Mohammed Dahlan makes a bold move to assert control. Chaos erupted when Dahlan's supporters clashed with loyalists of the deceased Mahmoud Abbas in the streets of Ramallah. Reports suggest that the clashes resulted in several deaths estimated to be in the hundreds, adding to the tension that has been simmering beneath the surface for months.

    Dahlan is reportedly still in Jerusalem but is expected to enter Ramallah soon. At least 54% of Palestinians have indicated support for the PFM as the Palestinian Authority continues to remain leaderless and is nearly about to collapse with no immediate successor taking the place of Abbas.

    Ah, tragic (sarcasm). That's so unfortunate (seriousness). At this rate, Palestine would become an even bigger battleground with Israel attempting to gain control of the territory and Hamas attempting to set up a government, let alone we might have to worry about good ole' Heze and Iran if Israel attempted to make a land grab. Damn, these t***l h***s (ooc: Ross don't really like Muslims or Arabs) are really something. Let's hope Dahlan can turn this mess around. How confident should we be in this approach, John? @Avner

    John Ratcliffe, Director of NI: Dahlan is pretty popular with Palestinians in the West Bank, and now that there is a vacuum, no clear successor to Abbas, and violence erupting, they'll turn to anyone who is strong enough and will reinstate order, which is what he is promising. I believe we can be confident enough, Madam President, that he will succeed.

  5. (Hurries into the room, with his face white from dread)

    John Ratcliffe, Director of NI: Madam President, we have confirmation that Mahmoud Abbas has been killed by Hamas operatives somewhere outside Ramallah. They hit his convoy, but there were no survivors. We have PFM and Fatah party members fighting each other on the streets of Ramallah currently, and if no Palestinian official steps up to be appointed president, we suspect, myself, Shin Bet, Mossad, and Israel's military intelligence, that the Palestinian Authority will collapse not within weeks but days. We have reported that PA security forces are returning their weapons and going home. We have confirmation that Israeli PM Regev is calling up reserves for an emergency deployment into Area A of the West Bank.

    image.png.ae5890bb9ffeb286be868e2728aacb3c.png

    Dahlan will be arriving in Ramallah either tonight or tomorrow to try and wrestle control from the PA; unconfirmed reports indicate 90 people have been killed in the latest fighting between PFM and Fatah gunmen, and the number will grow higher. I will update you all; the intelligence is complex for now.

  6. Thank you, Secretary General. Here are a few points that the United States would like opinions on.

    -Increased aid to Ukraine, how much new possible aid would our allies provide to Ukraine, and would NATO agree to launch a campaign to increase pilot training for eventual rearmament of the Ukrainian airforce?

    -Would NATO members agree to increase their military equipment production, so equipment shortages are avoided?

    -Would NATO members agree to increase their defence spending by the 2% minimum that NATO has instructed?

    @Jefferson

  7. General these are the following issues,

    -From all viewpoints, the strategy has not worked so far when confronting the Russians. The United States and our mutual allies would have to see a change that preserves the lives of Ukrainian manpower for an eventual offensive.

    -Equipment needs: what does the Ukrainian army need? What materials are running low?

    -Pilot training, how many potential recruits do you have that can be trained as pilots by the United States and our mutual allies?

    @Jefferson

    There's a base that can be hit.

    As for more remote Iranian military assets, there are a couple of IRGC bases inside Syria which would be a good target. Question is how heavy you want this strike to be.

    The UN Ambassador will be making some waves, but for the majority of the world not knowledgable to this intelligence, they have largely turned away from Venezuela and Guyana.

    Can I address the UNSC and present said evidence?

  9. "Mr. President, I can only assure you that if you do not change your strategy, there will be those who will demand a total cut-off of aid. I was not here in 2023; it was a different administration. We are a new administration and must now look to the future. This administration is willing to increase aid to Ukraine, but once again, your strategy needs to be addressed. Nor can I control the democratic election of European governments that are critical or now wary; however, as I said, I am willing to apply pressure. However, I would need a commitment from you concerning strategy."

    "Mr Secretary, we are doing what we can to stop the Russian aggressors. Our men are fighting, every day, in heroic actions. We are hitting the Russians where it hurts them, but we lack the means to really break through at this point. Thanks to many of our allies, including yourself, reducing the amount of aid. Failing to understand what menace awaits them, if Russia gets what they want."

    Mr. President, my intelligence reports indicate you are overstretching the Ukrainian army; I am concerned there won't be enough manpower left for an eventually more significant push with American arms and equipment. We are asking you to rethink the strategy here. The United States is committed to continuing aid, and we are willing to talk to our mutual allies to increase assistance to Ukraine again. However, the ongoing strategy needs to be addressed before that happens.

    Ellen Lord, Secretary of Defense: Britain will not, France will send advisors.

    John Ratcliffe, Director of NI: We can use a more friendly South American government to relay this message to Maduro.

    Aaron Rabin: *lights a cigar* "How typical, the United States will once again do the heavy lifting, so it seems. Would Bolivia be willing to send the message?"

  12. Aaron Rabin: I'd recommend, Madam President, that we get a list of everything all four nations need to get their military capabilities up to speed. I believe military advisors should be sent to all four countries. I'd support moving a carrier there; if we have to use gunboat diplomacy to make a point, so be it. Can we reach out to Maduro unofficially and give him a message informing him if one Venezuelan soldier crosses into the territory, they will see shock and awe in less than 24 hours?

    10 hours ago, Jefferson said:

    John Ratcliffe, Director of NI: Both France and Britain have already stated their support for a resolution condemning Venezuela if the need arises. As for CARICOM, the RSS is laughably small, amounting to about 1,600 personnel. A joint force between all CARICOM members would be a sizeable force, with the Dominican Republic having an army of 45,000, Jamaica of 22,500, Trinidad and Tobago 23,000 and Guyana 15,000 soldiers. Their main struggle would be coordination and equipment. Neither country has seen any significant amount of fighting in the past years. Granted, neither have the Venezuelans, of course.

    Would Britain and France also be willing to provide equipment and advisors to help train?

  13. Aaron Rabin: Can I get a phone line to CARICOM? I want to speak with CARICOM Secretary General Carla Barnett and see if a Caribbean force can be deployed with American logistical support. Madam President, I recommend that an aid package, preferably excess military hardware, possibly older if we have any, be shipped to the GDF (Guyana Defence Force). I'd also like to call our British and French allies to see if they will back a UNSC or UNGA resolution condemning Venezuela. @Jefferson

    China and Russia will likely veto the UNSC, but we will have better luck in the general assembly. Frankly, I don't think this will be resolved diplomatically. Maduro is a bully, and now it's time for the bully to learn his lesson if he decides to act out.

    Chief Justice Roberts, Associate Justice Thomas, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, President Biden, fellow Americans, and people of the world; I stand before you today, with the words of Reagan: in honor of the orderly transfer of authority as called for in the Constitution, and routinely has taken place for over two centuries.

    President Biden, I want our fellow citizens to know how much you did to carry on this tradition. By your gracious cooperation in the transition process, you have shown a watching world that we are a united people pledged to maintain a political system that guarantees individual liberty to a greater degree than any other. I thank you and your people for all your help in keeping the continuity, which is the bulwark of our Republican form of government.

    This inauguration is remarkable; America, the land of beauty and opportunity, elected me as the first woman president. This tremendous honor is daunting, but I am thankful that millions of American women and I can hear our voices at the ballot box. To all the young girls in America watching, you can do anything. I also want to be the voice for the girls, young women, and women watching abroad in situations were they must endure a brutal life of oppression; my administration will not forget you!

    As I look around at the men who served in the office that I now possess, I can see from the looks on their faces that the responsibilities that lie ahead are indeed grand. It takes a special kind of individual to serve in this capacity, and I do it with great honor and privilege. Our challenges are formidable, but I am fueled by a deep sense of duty and a commitment to the American people. The path behind us was indeed a grave one with no hope; today, the way ahead is clear and bright. As one nation united under God and our collective belief in individual liberty, we will navigate the path forward with resilience, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the principles that define our great nation.

    Throughout my campaign, I consistently emphasized to the American people that our nation stood at a crucial crossroads, presenting a pivotal choice for its future. The current trajectory we find ourselves on is a collision course with more inflation, increased challenges on our southern border, irresponsible spending, rising prices, and a continued last approach to our citizens and nation. Over the years, we've witnessed severe challenges in foreign policy, a devastating blow to our once-thriving economy, and a bleak outlook for our nation's future.

    The future might have looked grim, but today, as we stand at the dawn of a new era a new government, we declare that a different course is not only possible; a new approach is here! My administration will begin with a persistent shift away from the failures of the past and toward a future defined by American strength, prosperity, and unity. My commitment to you, as your President, is to steer the ship of state away from the treacherous waters of stagnation and toward a horizon where inflation is curbed, our research and technology development is strong, our southern border is secure, spending is responsible, prices are stable, and our focus is unequivocally on putting America First.

    We are not merely rejecting the failures of the past; we are embracing the promise of a future where America's interests and values are at the forefront of every decision. We will forge a new path guided by the principles that have defined us throughout history. In the face of challenges, we will stand united. This is not just a turning point; it is a transformative moment for our nation, and as we embark on this journey, I am confident that every American will stand with us to chart this new course together toward a stronger, more prosperous, and truly exceptional America.

    The flames of uncertainty are spreading globally, with global conflict in Ukraine, Israel, and now Venezuela. China's influence is on the rise, extending even into our backyard. Our great nation has undertaken many tribulations. We become an embarrassment, becoming a global punchline, notably as the world witnessed our military withdrawal from Afghanistan, leaving behind billions of dollars in equipment for the Taliban to exploit.

    Today, I stand before you with an unwavering commitment to extinguish the fire, halt China's advance, and silence the scoffing nations that perceive America as weak. My administration will work to strengthen diplomatic ties with key allies to build a united front against common threats. We will reevaluate and reinforce international agreements, ensuring the United States regains its position as a steadfast leader in promoting peace and stability worldwide. We will develop and implement a robust strategy to counter China's economic and geopolitical expansion, protecting our interests at home and abroad. We will strengthen partnerships with nations in our hemisphere, ensuring that our backyard remains a stronghold of democratic values and sovereign autonomy.

    My administration will invest in cutting-edge technology and rigorous training to maintain and enhance our military superiority. We will reassure our allies of our commitment to collective defence, security, and the preservation of freedom. And, in all, my administration will fortify our economy, fostering innovation and investment in critical industries to reduce dependency on foreign powers. We will champion economic resilience, ensuring that America's strength extends beyond our borders and stands as a testament to our ability to face any external challenge with unwavering resolve.

    I will not only put out the fires that threaten our global order, but I will also rebuild and reinforce the pillars of strength that have made this nation a beacon of hope and a force to be reckoned with. This administration will ensure that our citizens walk with pride internationally and will never fear being an American abroad, knowing their government will provide an extended arm of protection from all foreign or domestic threats. The laughter will end, and the world will witness the resurgence of a mighty America.

    My fellow Americans, the opportunity that lies before us is ever straightforward. Millions of you have spoken and asked for a new direction in this country, a vision transcending the partisan divide, putting away our Republican and Democrat labels and embracing each other as one people, one nation. This is our moment to take back the reigns of power from corrupt politicians and place it in the hands of the American people. You are sovereign over this nation. The government is not. Our moment to forge a path forward, guided by shared values of individual liberty and a collective determination to restore the promise of America.

    From this day forward, America will be the land of the people, for the people, and by the people. No longer will the special interests, lobbyists, or corporate monopolies dictate to you. No longer will your pleas be brushed aside. This America, our America, is your America. This land, our land, is your land. From the beaches of California to the New York Islands. From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters. America, the time is now to put you first once again!

    Thank you, and God bless you! May God bless the United States of America!

    I removed attacks on Biden, we want to be bipartisan at least at the start here. I added some things, like pointing out you're the first female president and how you'll use your voice and power to fight for oppressed women worldwide, etc. Other than that, just minor grammar, but for the most part, I kept your speech intact.
