  1. Name: Barak Mofaz

    Media/Outlet: Anderson Cooper 360

    Reason: Inflation

    • Like many Americans, I am growing tired of the bickering by both sides instead of coming down to a solution. We need to stop measuring who has the most giant dick in the room and solve the growing costs of everyday goods that Americans increasingly find difficult to get like milk and gas.
    • I have a list of ideas Anderson that could help fight inflation caused by supply chains, we must improve inventory management practices to ensure sufficient stock levels of essential goods. This can help buffer against short-term disruptions and prevent sudden price spikes.
    • As a society, we have to diminish our reliance on a single source or region for critical goods and raw materials. When we are facilitating diversification of supply sources, it will help mitigate disruptions' impact in any one area.
    • When we address the specific bottlenecks in the supply chain that are causing disruptions, we should be looking to the Defense Production Act to help alleviate the strain, we used it during COVID, and we should be using it for critical supplies that are being driven up by cost and expanding inflation.
    • Ultimately the Defeating Covid Act introduced some measures to fight supply chain issues, but we must do more, some might disagree with these ideas, but it is better than a group of politicians tweeting back and forth blaming each while millions of Americans aren't even making minimum wage, it's just bullshit.
  2. "Those who have never been to war and seen their comrades die will be the loudest voices claiming we need to remain in Afghanistan."

Washington, D.C: Speaking to the press outside his senate office, Senator Barak Mofaz praised President Sharp for moving forward with former President Donald Trump’s peace plan with the Taliban. Mofaz a general who served in Afghanistan, called the nearly 20 years of American involvement in Afghanistan, a door that needed to be closed at long last.

“I congratulate President Sharp for sticking to the peace deal pushed by the former Trump administration between the Afghan government and the Taliban. Simply put, the US military was never designed to foment nation-building, especially bureaucrats in Washington.  Those who will ultimately condemn the president for another president’s peace deal will always ignore the more significant question: how many more years would he have to invest in Afghanistan? How much more investment that caused dead and wounded American servicemembers would have to be contributed to this cause of nation-building?

How much more money would need to be continuously invested, as various members of the senate lecture about inflation? Kabul must take control and be the strong authority in its affairs now. Do I believe they will survive? I don’t know for sure. Do I think the Taliban which has double-crossed organizations and ethnic groups in Afghanistan for decades will adhere to the peace agreement, most likely not. However, we can no longer fight to maintain peace in a foreign nation, it is the domestic population that must do so, after 20 years of at least building the foundation, I strongly believe the Afghan people will fight for those hard-earned rights and freedoms.

But I believe our mission in Afghanistan must entirely end, those who have never been to war and seen their comrades die will always be the loudest voices claiming we need to stay in Afghanistan. It’s time we reject those voices."

  3. Frankly, I wanted a permanent ban from the party but perhaps I'm feeling vindictive.

RFW had terrible behaviour, I could understand if I voted against the party a majority of the time, but to actively attempt to threaten me over the abortion vote and then continuously try and undermine me in the media is absurd—the constant undermining of various party members from Storm, Jack, and Goose. His attempt to sabotage the railway deal for no fucking reason and in general asshole behaviour.

It does not help his case that besides him, we pretty much all get along and work well. Obviously, we will have disagreements, everyone has an opinion but so far none of us except RFW have been an overall asshole when it comes to said ideas. So he needs to be suspended from playing in the DNC until the end of the round.

  4. Mofaz: "Federal correctional officers who break the law should be made an example of."

Washington, D.C: Speaking to members of the press, Senator Barak Mofaz expressed deep concern after a report from the Associated Press revealed more than 100 federal prison workers have been arrested, convicted or sentenced for crimes since the start of 2019. Several officers arrested on drug charges were never suspended by the federal Bureau of Prisons. In response, Mofaz announced he had introduced legislation that would automatically suspend BOP correctional officers without pay if they were charged with a crime.

“I was greatly disturbed by the report I read from the Associated Press. Most federal correctional officers are good people and risk their lives daily. Nevertheless, it is important to draw a line when it comes to those officers who commit offences in the federal prison system. Correctional officers are expected to keep the peace, defend inmates and staff, and observe the law. When officers participate in illegal activities, it compromises the respectability and trustworthiness of the correctional system.

Full investigations into criminal accusations must be conducted without obstruction, so we must put a stop to those accused of breaking the law receiving payment from the federal government. To achieve this, I am proposing the Federal Correctional Integrity Act of 2021, which will implement a zero-tolerance policy.

The system needs to have a firm grasp of the rules for prisons to be managed successfully. If personnel within the system break the law, it takes away the power and control needed for a safe environment. If officers who have broken regulations are given punishment, it shows that there will be repercussions for illegal conduct, illustrating the significance of adhering to laws.”
