  2. @AriGoodman: Democrats have completely ignored Lousy Linda's immigration comments.

@AriGoodman: I hope the American people remember in the next election, the Democrats who defended her and her support of giving benefits under the Labor department to illegals.

  3. Mr. President,

As ranking member of the HELP committee, I expressed my concerns over the nomination of Ms. Chavez-Thompson. I expressed concerns over her views on illegal immigration, I expressed concern over her support of giving benefits to illegal immigrants no matter what. Her belief in raising the minimum wage  on states that simply could not afford what that would bring. The president lazily appointed someone for simply being a Democratic supporter. There are countless better appointees than Ms Chavez-Thompson, hell I gave her chance but she failed that Mr. President. She failed time and time again, and I will fight tooth and nail see that this woman is not confirmed by the senate. She has made it clear she does not respect the rule of law in this nation so she must fail her nomination. To spare us, the president should have withdrawn her nomination a long time ago. But what the dictator in chief wants, goes as his senate majority will prove as the votes are counted on this nomination. I hope there are some Democrats who see this nomination as extremely irresponsible choice.

Goodman votes no on stimulus bill

Boris Johnson Leaves U.K. Hospital After Coronavirus Treatment ...

Washington, D.C: Senator Ari Goodman voted on the American Economic Recovery and Reform Act with a no vote citing that the bill was almost the exact carbon copy of the original deal that was presented yesterday. Disappointed with how the stimulus bill was presented with no debate but with an immediate vote, Senator Goodman expressed frustration after being left in the dark about the deal when HELP committee members organized the bill behind his back. While Senator Goodman stated he did not want the economy to fall into a tail spin, he could not support the bailouts  as is, in which $800 billion would be given in loans. The senator also attacked the $50 billion dollar fund for energy in which it only focused natural gas, solar, wind, biofuel/alternatives while neglecting oil and coal.

"Im somewhat disappointed in what was accomplished once again behind closed doors. Especially on a committee that I am ranking member on, I don't support backway deals and I wont support this one. $800 billion in loans to supporting failing business that made wrong decisions, as a small business owner if I did what they did, I'd be out of a job. What they did was criminal and they deserve to be locked away, not rewarded and given a slap on the wrist. Furthermore the development of energy in this stimulus  is pathetic, they have forgotten our brothers and sisters in the oil and coal industries; once again they don't benefit. This deal is rotten and I'm proud to have voted against it. I believe strongly that we should have extended the bush era tax cuts, expand our investments into energy production and energy-based jobs and reduce the corporate tax rate."

  5. Press Release 04#

Goodman: "My fears have been confirmed, bailout meant for big business"

Washington, D.C: Speaking to the press on capitol hill, Senator Ari Goodman expressed his frustration at the announcement that the White House was creating a $1 trillion spending spree plan in bailouts and corporate welfare. The senator who long has stated he would vote against a bill that would have unchecked spending and didn't provide the American people with a bailout, lamented he was proven right and that the president was beholden to corporate interests than the American people.

"President Murphy talked about getting the American people back to work and recovering the economy from this economic nightmare. However I long assumed that the economic deal would not be focused on American workers rather, be focused on those who got us into this mess. The deal that was released and that I saw, included $1 trillion in spending, spending that we can not simply afford. Not on regular working joes but on corporations who decided to break rules, who decided to spend money that they did not have on jets and monthly bonuses. $34 billion in loans to Chrysler and GM with the weak agreement that only 70% of their business should be conducted in the United States for only 20 years, that is simply not enough. Meanwhile only $50 billion in a small business relief grant program. Mr. President why does corporate America matter to you more than main street? Why are you pushing for $1 trillion in welfare for big business? We should be extending the bush tax cuts and building up jobs and infrastructure in the energy sphere, however the American people will suffer under a president that would rather leak information to the press than get a good deal to resolve this crisis."
