Bio

John was born to a Catholic family in Phoenix, AZ. He attended Norte Dame where he studied Psychology. He intended to continue studying Psychology after graduating but instead decided to study the law so he enrolled in Georgetown University. After graduating he joined the Navy and served until 1996. After serving he returned to Arizona and joined the U.S. Attorney Office in Arizona. While there he became more interested in politics and finally decided to run for Congress in 2004. In 2012 he ran for the Senate and won a seat to represent Arizona.
