Three friends from childhood decided to share their interest into politics (all three of them have some sort of Political Science degree) and spin it into a program that the average American could understand and enjoy. The show is taking late night talk shows that on on TV, but more of a political and news slant to it. The show was picked up by WOR 710AM after each of them graduated their specific college (see above for host details) and started at the 10pm-2am time slot. They started to gain a little bit of a fanbase, due to the nature of the content they are producing (politics with comedy aspects). They switched to morning slot at WOR 710AM in 2002, thus expanding their growing fanbase to more New Yorkers. The show was started to gain syndication in 2005 and was played throughout the country by 2008. In 2010, Frank Russo and they guys signed a 10 year contract with Sirius XM. The deal included their own channel, Frank Russo 202, which airs it's live show (which was laid out to be Monday-Thursday from 5am-11am) and re-runs and classic moments throughout it's history. The show is known for interviewing politicians nationwide in a very casual setting.

Daniel was a pilot for the U.S Air Force during the Vietnam War and was shot down in Vietnam during a mission, and his body was never recovered. Meaning, David never got to meet his dad. Raised by his mother only, they moved around the US for her job. Despite only having one source of income, they lived a relatively middle class life growing up. David took interest in football at an early age, and played with various youth teams wherever his family moved to, Finally getting settled in Clayton, Missouri (outside of St. Louis Missouri), he joined the football team at his high school. He set multiple state records in his time as quarterback for his high school, and in his senior year, won the Missouri State Title. After his state championship, he was recruited by many schools in the region, notably Illinois, Missouri, Northwestern, and Kansas Sate. He ultimately chose Illinois, due to the amount of playing time offered early on. Entering his freshman year at Illinois, he was the backup to start the season, however due to the starting QB getting injured, he became the starting QB for the rest of the season. He lead his team to a bowl win in his freshman year, making his job as starting QB set in stone for the next four years. Each year he started, they went and won a bowl game. His most notable game was against rival Missouri, where he threw for 426 yards and threw for 5 touchdowns in a shootout win. After graduating with a degree in political science, he entered the 1990 NFL draft. Mainly overlooked due to being a little undersized and needs to develop his accuracy, he wasn't expected to get drafted at all and be a prioritized undrafted free agent. However, to the shock of everyone, including himself, he was drafted in the 6th round to the Miami Dolphins. The Miami Dolphins already had a QB, named Dan Marino, so David was expected to be a backup, and those expectations came true during his first couple of years of his career. However, during a game against the Jets in 1994, Marino went down with a concussion and David was thrown in to the game. Down 17-0, David lead the Dolphins to a 28 unanswered point comeback victory. Next week, Marino was ruled out and David was named the starter. The Dolphins won the game, and David threw for an impressive 389 yards and 4 touchdown passes. However, Marino was cleared to play the next week and David was sent back to the bench. After the season was over, he went on to sign a big long term deal with the Chicago Bears. During his time in Chicago, he lead the Bears to consistent NFC North titles and playoff appearances, but couldn't get passed the NFC Championship game. He did win the NFL MVP in 1998, and was seen as the best QB the Chicago Bears had since Jim McMahon. In 2000, during a game against the Detroit Lions, David took a hard hit and left the game with a severe concussion and missed the remainder of the year. After the year was over, he shocked the entire league by announcing his retirement. He said his concussion gave him time to rethink his future and was afraid one more injury like that could have massive health issues in the future. He expressed his desire of politics and law throughout his life, saying it was his 3rd love, behind his wife and football. In 1994, when he signed his big deal with the bears, he decided to go law school during the off seasons, and he enrolled at University of Chicago after passing the LSAT. After his retirement, he went full time and finished up Law School and passed the Illinois Bar. After passing the bar, he got a job with the Chicago Bears in their legal division. In 2010, he was approached by the Illinois GOP to run for the open class 3 Senate seat, and he decided to run for the open seat. He won the primary with ease, due to name recognition. The general election was a hard fought race in the beginning, as the polls showed that it was well within the margin of error. However, due to a red wave in 2010 and a poorly ran campaign by his opponent, David won the Senate election by 6 points. David's views on issues are not that of a typical republican. Fiscally, he is right of center and socially he is liberal. You could hear him during the campaign that he is running as a "Illinoisan, rather than a republican". He believes partisan politics is what is causing problems in Washington, and promised he will push legislation that benefits everyone, and not just one party. David is married to his college sweetheart, Amanda, and has 2 kids, Kaitlin and James. His older brother, Grant, is a former pilot in the Air Force (following the footsteps of his father) and now is a State Senator in Nevada. In his free time, he likes to cook, paint, and watch his former team on Sundays. He splits time in Illinois and at his townhouse in Georgetown. His daughter, Kaitlin, is in her junior year at Georgetown and is planning on working on Capitol Hill after college. His son James, is in his junior year of high school and is the star hockey player at his high school. He plans on attending the University of Boston to play hockey.
